Jimmy Esebag, from Camden Healthcare and United Medical Devices, filed last Thursday in Los Angeles, CA, a lawsuit against Max Azria and his BCBG Max Azria Group for fraud and breach of contract. Esebag asks for exemplary damages and other relif the court finds appropriate.
The lawsuit refered to a transaction involving Playboy condoms, whereby BCBG allegedly would acquire the Playboy license and try to get the condoms sold at Wal-Mart and Carrefour. However, the transaction never materialized.
In the compalint Max Azria is refered to as a “narcissistic braggart with a sense of grandeur and self-importance that has little relationship to reality”.
The BCBG group told WWD that “Max was victorious in the prior arbitration relating to this matter, and we are confident he will also be victorious in the present lawsuit”.
