BAD COLLECTION CHOICES AFFECT HERING SALES


Hering, a Brazilian adult fashion company - one of the oldest and more traditional of the country with more than 400 franchised stores in Brazil - has reported a decrease on sales during the second trimester of 2012, according to Valor Econômico

The 3.9% decrease is connected not only to the slowing in the economy, but also (and perhaps mainly) because of the wrong choices of the current collection.  The problem was not that the products did not appeal to the public, but because there was a lack of products in the women's line, which represents 3/4 of the customer's flow in stores, according to Hering's presidente, Fábio Hering.
