GUCCI'S NEW RIO DE JANEIRO STORE OPENS TODAY

Gucci will open today a new store in Rio de Janeiro, at the Village Mall, designed by Frida Giannini, Gucci’s creative director. This will be the brand's fifth store in Brazil and will feature women's and men's accessories and a children's apparel collection. The new Rio store will also offer  an exclusive line of accessories identified by the green, yellow and blue Brazilian flag and a new stylization of the interlocking GG logo.

As reported by WWD, Patrizio di Marco, Gucci's CEO, said that the brand believes in the long-term potential of the Brazilian market and that they have established a fully dedicated team and structure in São Paulo to support the growth of the business in Brazil and the rest of Latin America.
